Why are confidence and assertiveness so important?
A lack of confidence and assertiveness can hold women back from achieving their full potential.
A lack of self-belief and confidence lead women to assume that they need to be 110% qualified to apply for a job. Men, on the other hand, reckon they need only 40% of the skills and experience required! As a result men apply for many more senior roles ahead of time, which is one of the factors underpinning the under-representation of women at senior levels.
Our programmes tackle deep-seated limiting beliefs and mindsets alongside practical tips and skills to increase women’s confidence and visibility.
“Wonderful Confidence and Assertiveness Course. Sarah is a brilliant trainer and very inspirational. 24 hours after the course and it was life-changing – thanks!”

Building Confidence and Assertiveness
This is where your confidence journey begins.
Building Confidence and Assertiveness is a very popular half-day or full-day workshop where you will:
understand the aggressive/passive-aggressive/assertive/passive spectrum and where you currently sit on it
identify your key development areas as a result
understand the importance of developing a growth mindset
explore your boundaries and understand the importance of saying “No”
recognise how perfectionism can impede your progress and erode your confidence
learn how to overcome imposter syndrome
identify times when you feel more self-confident and assertive and set up a “game plan” to maximise those occasions
Your Personal Brand
A strong personal brand is a highly valuable asset and needs to be consciously honed and upheld.
This workshop will help you to:
understand the power of branding
consider your personal brand and reflect on your personal strengths and drivers
compare your current personal brand to your desired one and commit to any necessary actions
Presence and Impact
Presence and impact increase your success rate in creating and building meaningful connections. In a virtual world this brings additional challenges which need to be considered and addressed in order to support more engaged and effective teams.
This workshop can be offered face-to-face or virtually.
We will compare two TED talks to show how simple tweaks can make a critical difference in how your presence and impact are perceived. What are those distinctions in body language, tonality etc that make the difference?
“Sarah has a fantastic knowledge and experience and she conveys it in a positive, clear way with lots of examples and exercises. Fantastic training. This will definitely help to deal with the people at work and to believe in me.”
